Virtual bookkeeping

Remote bookkeeping that feels like having someone down the hall

I work with clients all over the country from Liberty, Missouri. Being remote doesn't mean being distant. Most of my clients hear from me more than they ever heard from the bookkeeper down the road.

How it works

Four steps, and then it just runs

Getting started takes less of your time than most people expect.
  1. 01

    We talk

Fifteen minutes to understand your business, what software you use, and where things stand today. No prep needed on your end.

  2. 02

    Secure access

You grant me access to your accounting software and read-only bank feeds. Nothing leaves your control, and you can revoke it any time.

  3. 03

    I take it from here

Your books get done on a schedule. If I need something from you, I ask once, clearly, in a single message rather than a trickle of emails.

  4. 04

    You get answers

Reports arrive on a predictable rhythm with a plain-English note on what changed, plus a standing invitation to ask me anything.

The trust question

Handing your finances to someone you haven't met

It's a fair thing to be cautious about, and I'd think less of you if you weren't. Here's exactly how the arrangement protects you.

You keep control

Access is granted through your accounting software and read-only bank connections. I never need your banking passwords, and you can remove access whenever you like.

Everything in one place

Your books live in your cloud accounting file, not on my computer. If we ever part ways, you walk off with everything, no hostage situation.

A real person, not a portal

You're not filing tickets into a queue. You know who does your books, and you can call and get me or Katie on the phone.

A steady rhythm

You'll know when reports land and how quickly I reply. No wondering whether anyone is actually working on your file.

Nothing hidden

You can look at your own books any time you want. I'd rather you understand them than depend on me to explain every line.

Distance is not the issue

The work is the same whether I'm across town or three states away. What matters is whether the person doing it knows your industry.

Your part

What you actually have to do: almost nothing

The whole point of handing this off is getting your evenings back. If working with me creates homework for you, I've done it wrong.
  • Send me access once, at the start
  • Forward the occasional document I ask for
  • Tell me when something big changes in the business
  • Read the reports and ask questions when you have them

In their words

Kind words from people I get to work with

Real reviews from business owners I work with every month.

“Working with Angie has been the best decision my company has made. She is so responsive, so knowledgeable, and so kind. She is so professional and has helped us understand and work through many situations. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot recommend Angie highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable about anything I have asked for bookkeeping and business taxes. She has also helped me avoid a number of issues that would have come back to bite me if she hadn't gone out of her way to make sure I knew how to fix it.”

“Angie is what keeps my business working. She keeps me from fearing tax time and I can't put a number on that. Every time I've asked a question about money or taxes, she's able to break it down in a way that makes sense and isn't overwhelming. She's been the best addition to my team and I can't say thanks enough.”
